Summer Speed and Strength program tailored specifically for baseball and softball players.

Tuesdays & Thursdays

12:00-1:30 = 13-15 yr olds

1:30-3:00 = 16-18 yr olds

 

Cost: $225

(Early Bird Discount of $150 until May 15th)

 

              ACADEMY TRAINING

COMPLEMENT SKILL TRAINING IN ACADEMY WITH PERFORMANCE TRAINING! 

 

Option for Academy Members as part of

1x/wk, 2x/wk, or Full program

 

SUMMER (JUN 10 - AUG 14)

Tues & Thur options (Academy 9-11 AM) 

PT = 12:00-1:30 and 1:30-3:00)

 

**Academy players can add Performance Training for additional $100 to Summer Academy program.

 

 

WINTER (NOV 4 - MAR 12)

Sun, Mon, Wed options

1x- $155 / month

2x- $285 / month

Full Program- $335 / Month

 

 

              GROUP TRAINING

(2-6 athletes/session)

ALL year round

 

1x/week - $155/mth

2x/week - $285/mth

3x/week - $335/mth

 

** All sessions will last aprox 1 hr

 

** 90 minute 1:1 Baseball Skill Training + Performance Training Sessions are offered upon request.

13-15 Yr Old Program Focus: Body control, base strength, speed, balance, stabilization, introduction to plyometrics and object control. Making sure basic motor abilities are established first=> pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, pressing, lunging, shuffling, backpedaling, sprinting, stopping, landing, skipping, jumping

 

16-18 Yr Old Program Focus: Exercises with a higher degree of sport specificity and transferability=> Some max strength, Explosiveness, Power, Speed of all movements.

 

 

 

PROGRAM PROCESS:

First 2 Sessions: Assess Abilities to create tailored program to specific sport demands/needs

 

*Chronological age, training age, body type, stage of physical maturation and level of cognitive function are all factors in program planning and design.

 

**Note: Chronological age will not be the sole predictor of exercise selection. Some 13-15s may be physically ready for more difficulty while some 16-18s may need to begin at a more basic level before difficulty increases. This is addressed in the first few sessions.
